A Perfect Day in the heart of Darling Harbour

Held on November 6, 2024, the event took place in the heart of Sydney, overlooking the Marina. The scenic backdrop set the tone for a day of inspiration and collaboration. Our guests, including valuable customers and partners from across APAC, arrived eager to connect with the WoodWing team flown in from Malaysia and Amsterdam.

The event started with warm conversations over morning tea, with the crisp weather adding to the vibrant energy of the day.

Ross Paterson, CEO of WoodWing, opened the event with a powerful keynote. He highlighted the dual forces of uncertainty and opportunity in the ever-evolving digital landscape. He shared insights into the challenges companies face with digital transformation, including inefficiencies in content workflows, legal risks, and the need for branding consistency. His message was clear: unlocking potential and embracing change are key to staying competitive.

  • Tom Pijsel, VP of Product Management at WoodWing, delivered actionable insights on using AI to revolutionize content workflows. He demonstrated how automating routine tasks can improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and maintain high content quality.
  • Michael Stoddart, Consultant and former Adobe executive, reflected on the transformative changes in content creation, from desktop publishing to AI-driven platforms.   • Hassan Tahhan, Senior Partner Sales Solutions Architect at AWS, explored how generative AI empowers content production. He shared practical examples of using AI to customise workflows and effectively use data to meet unique business needs.
  • Mike McHugh, Country Manager at PageProof Australia, discussed optimising workflows, from creative briefing to final asset delivery. His session tackled practical questions, including how AI can assist in creative feedback and ensure efficient approvals.
  • Owen Greenwell, Creative Operations Director at Medium Rare Content Agency, highlighted how WoodWing Studio and WoodWing Assets have given his team a competitive edge. He shared how seamless integrations and cloud migration have streamlined their operations, enabling a decade of uninterrupted performance.

The event also featured a thought-provoking panel discussion with industry experts, including:
