Onemeeting has been developing diverse concepts for successfully operating meeting venues for more than 40 years. Saviëlle Roemeling is Head of Operations & Sustainability at the company where she has now worked for 17 years. She tells how, for the rollout of a new concept, she was looking for an information and quality management system to efficiently and professionally market the service to be launched. About the Client
Onemeeting is the booking platform for meeting rooms. Onemeeting's meeting experts advise and assist companies and organizations in searching, comparing and booking business meetings and events. For clients in real estate, catering, facility and hospitality Onemeeting develops and optimizes meeting centers. This makes Onemeeting the full-service meeting expert.
Two years ago new concepts were launched: operational and hospitality expertise. Both concepts contribute to professional operational management and successful meetings. The expected growth in communication and information sharing with external parties was the immediate reason to look for a system to manage that.
Scienta is a user-friendly, intuitive tool to easily share information and/or set up processes internally and externally.
The challenge
Saviëlle: "For our internal communications, we use e-mail and telephone. On a small scale that works fine, but if you start communicating with more external clients and system users, mistakes are easily made. Moreover, you never know if people are working with the right versions of manuals and you have no control over shielding possible sensitive information. Communicating and sharing information with external parties requires more structure, overview, and insight."
