Amsterdam, October 7, 2019 – Gyldendal, the largest book publishing house in Norway, has partnered with WoodWing to implement its Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, in collaboration with solution partner PubliQare.
The announcement comes as Gyldendal is enforcing aligned production processes between digital and print channels. WoodWing’s DAM solution will sit at the heart of the organization’s content workflow and play the role of a Content Services Platform to serve the right variant of assets for digital and print.
The benefits of implementing the solution include:
“In today’s competitive publishing landscape, processes and tooling are huge opportunities for businesses to make productivity gains,” said Maarten Reinders, Chief Commercial Officer, WoodWing. “Our solutions have been helping the world’s biggest magazine publishers with their content workflow challenges for nearly 20 years, and recently we are seeing more and more book and newspaper publishers working with us for similar challenges, including, Japan Times, Jornal da Madeira, Porto Editora, Editora do Brasil, Zwijsen and Grupo SM.”
“Working with WoodWing’s DAM solution is enabling us to achieve a new level of producing content for digital and print,” said Thomas Johanson, Head of Media Production at Gyldendal. “The solution’s level of openness and flexibility, as well as the efficient and user-friendly UI, were a big plus. We could build our own integration internally with ease and get up and running quickly. The cooperation with PubliQare as a partner helped a lot to do a focused proof of concept and speed up the implementation process.”
